Not your regular listening exercise, where you listen to a long speech and then try to discuss what you heared.

We will listen to a few sentences and decode what is happening there with the spoken language. Why is it that you don´t recognize anything from it, eventhough you might understand it in written form?

By decoding the langage you will start understanding it on a totally different level.
